Programme summary
The Facility Operations module will give you the skills, knowledge and competencies to operate a professional and successful business in the fitness industry or work in a supervisory/management role in a gym/leisure facility. It will also provide you with extensive knowledge in running your own freelance business.
Entry requirements
NCEF Certificate in Exercise & Health Fitness (CEHF) NFQ Level 6 OR NCEF/PEAI Level 1 National Certificate in Fitness & Exercise Instruction - Current and Recertified You must also hold a PHECC First Aid Response qualification. If you hold another health/fitness qualification and relevant work experience in the fitness industry , we ask you to complete an RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) application form which is a common route of entry onto NCEF courses. A cost of €125 applies to ALL RPL applicants on application, however if you are successful and offered a place on your chosen course, this fee is then deducted from the cost of overall module fees.
