Programme summary
The Master of Arts in European Studies is an innovative Double Degree programme offered in cooperation with the Europa Universität Flensburg in Germany. Its interdisciplinary curriculum provides students with diverse perspectives on current issues in European politics, economics, law, and culture, and prepares students for a wide range of employment options. The programme also enables students to gain first-hand experience of life in two very different European countries and to practice or improve their foreign language skills. Graduates obtain two MA degrees from both participating institutions.
Entry requirements
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree (NFQ Level 8) with at least a second-class honours, grade 2 (2:2) in a relevant discipline. The university may shortlist and invite you to an interview. Other Entry Considerations: We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet the standard entry requirements, as long as you can show that you have the knowledge, skills, and experience needed for the programme. At UL, we value all kinds of learning and support different ways to qualify through our Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) policy.
