Programme summary
This programme has been developed based on consultation with the EPA, SEAI, Irish Water, IDA, Enterprise Ireland and the Regional Skills Fora, and direct consultation with employers on their needs.
Entry requirements
Education: Applicants who have either successfully completed a programme leading to a Level 4 QQI qualification or can demonstrate the levels of knowledge, skills and competence associated with NFQ Level 4 will be eligible to apply for entry to this programme. Aptitude: None required. Previous experience: None required. Eligibility: Eligibility will be determined by employment status - as this is funded through the Skills to Advance initiative, students must be defined as an ‘employee’ - those who work part-time or full-time under a contract of employment, whether oral or written, express or implied, have recognised rights and duties and are in receipt of pay for their service. Self-employed persons are eligible to participate. Students must be over 18 years of age.
