Minimum Entry Requirements? F/T Programme:

• An honours bachelor degree (2.2 grade or higher) or equivalent in a Science or Engineering discipline is required.
• At least five years of experience, at a managerial level, in an environmental health and safety discipline is required. Students will also need to show excellent communication skills within a risk related work environment. Accordingly, it will be expected that international student applicants will have an overall IELTS score of 6.5 or better (with nothing less than 6 in each component), with strong evidence of fluency in written and spoken English gained through their professional experience. If English is not your first language you will need to provide evidence of your English language proficiency as detailed on our website. Note: Due to the considerable competition for our postgraduate courses satisfying the minimum entry requirement is not a guarantee of a place. Depending on the course of study applications will be assessed based on your academic grades and may also take into account your work/life experience. Applicants may also be required to attend for interview for specific courses. This MSc level course, routinely engages in class based discussions using real life scenarios covering a wide variety of knowledge domains including law, engineering, science and psychology. Presentation skills are therefore required as candidates will be expected to debate with their colleagues and lecturers on a wide variety of risk related issues.
