Programme summary
The M.Phil. in English Language Teaching is aimed at both new and experienced teachers of English as a foreign or second language. The course will give practising teachers the opportunity to explore current issues in ELT, and to deepen their understanding of the theoretical and practical concerns that underlie their teaching in TESOL and other settings.
Entry requirements
Admission Requirements Applicants should have a good honours degree (at least an upper second or equivalent; GPA of at least 3.2). Experience of English language teaching is desirable but not essential. Preference is given to applicants with relevant teaching experience. Applicants must provide a Personal Statement explaining their motivation in applying for their chosen course(s). English Language Requirements All applicants to Trinity are required to provide official evidence of proficiency in the English language.
