Engineering Practice

This one-year top-up programme is designed for individuals who have completed two Professional Diplomas and wish to advance their studies to achieve a Master’s qualification. Participants on this programme are typically career-focused individuals seeking an academic qualification to enhance their knowledge and expertise in their field.

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree (NFQ Level 8) with at least a second-class honours, grade 2 (2:2) in any discipline. You must also hold two Professional Diplomas at Level 9, amounting to 60 ECTS credits. Applicants who have completed one Professional Diploma at Level 9 (30 ECTS credits) and can demonstrate a minimum of five years of relevant industry experience may be considered for entry under the University of Limerick’s Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) Policy.
