Engineering - Mechanical Engineering

This programme is designed to provide you with detailed knowledge of advanced methods in Mechanical Engineering encompassing theoretical foundations, computational and experimental methods, and engineering applications. In addition to a comprehensive choice of elective options, the programme features an individual project that allows you to tackle a research topic that you select from a wide range of themes.

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree (NFQ Level 8) with at least a second-class honour, grade 2 (2:2) in Mechanical Engineering, or closely related field relating to engineering dynamics, solid and fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and mechanics of materials. The university may shortlist and invite you to an interview.
