1 year part-time, blended. On-Campus Attendance On Campus Attendance: Online lectures (18:00 to 21:00 three evenings (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays each week from September to May). All evening lectures are recorded if you are not available during those evenings. Attendance in ATU Galway is required on five Saturdays (9am-5pm) from September to December, plus 4 Saturdays (9am-5pm) from January to May. First Saturday is September 12th.

Programme summary

The role of a Manufacturing Engineer involves facilitating efficient operations within the production area by optimising existing processes, implementing new ones, and ensuring that production goals are achieved.

Entry requirements

Level 6 Higher Certificate in Engineering or a cognate discipline with two years experience in a technical role in a manufacturing environment. Alternatively, a Fetac level 6 qualification in a cognate discipline (for example toolmakers, fitters, electricians who work in manufacturing) with two years experience in a technical role in a manufacturing environment. Applications will be academically ranked at the Closing Date and offers made soon afterwards.
