Engineering - Civil Engineering

This one-year honours degree add-on programme offers students the opportunity to enhance their level of technical knowledge, understanding and skill and will develop the graduate’s skill in core civil engineering areas as well as more specialist areas such as new software and information systems and renewable energy technologies.

Applicants to this course should have successfully completed a Level 7, Bachelor of Engineering (ordinary) in Civil Engineering, Building, Structural Engineering, or equivalent with an overall pass and a minimum overall average of 50% achieved in one sitting. Applicants holding a different award titles are invited to apply to the Institute in order to determine the suitability of their award for admission to the course.
