Programme summary
The aim of the programme module is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill and competence in the principles of employment law and the statutory frameworks which regulate the employment relationship.
Entry requirements
Education: Applicants should have achieved a minimum of a QQI Level 4 Major Award or its equivalent. For QFA modules applicants should have achieved a minimum of a QQI Level 5 Major Award or its equivalent. Strong numerical and literacy skills are essential. IT Software Application skills to QQI Level 4/5 or equivalent are essential. For ILM modules applicants should have achieved a minimum of QQI Level 5 Manor Award or its equivalent. Aptitude: Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written are important, as is a good command of the English language, as work requires dealing directly with the general public. Previous Experience: Previous relevant industrial/commercial experience is desirable.
