This is a three-year part-time course designed to prepare students for careers as Electrical Services Engineers. The course has been designed in close consultation with the Electrical Services Industry.

Entry requirements

Minimum Entry Requirements? Qualified (National Craft Certificate) electrician, or similar. OR Successful completion of an NFQ level 6 engineering programme. Non-standard Entry Requirements: Apprentice electricians, or similar that have made adequate progress in pursuit of the National Craft Certificate (e.g. have completed phase 6). OR Relevant Level 6 qualification on approval of Programme Committee (through a non-standard entry application subcommittee).
