- This is a two-year Apprenticeship. Academic block release: 15 weeks per year at a Technological University or third-level institution.
Entry requirements
Applicants for the programme must be employed on an Apprenticeship contract of employment. Applications to register an apprentice can only be submitted by a Registered Employer. Applicants must meet the entry requirements as follow: Holder of the Advanced Certificate (Level 6) in Craft (Electrical) Holder of the Advanced Certificate (Level 6) in Craft (Electrical/Instrumentation or Craft Refrigeration) Holder of the TUS Higher Certificate in Electrical Engineering (Level 6) or a cognate Level 6 Electrical Certificate with relevant industrial electrical experience Registered Electrician with other equivalent qualifications, subject to the TUS Recognition of Prior Learning process For further queries on Entry Requirements, please Contact: electricalapprenticeship.midwest@tus.ie
