Education - School Leadership

The Postgraduate Diploma in School Leadership is designed for teachers who aspire to leadership positions in schools. Subject to confirmation that the PDSL/DGCS programme will run in 2025/26 please email pdsl@ul.ie.

Applicants should have successfully completed a Postgraduate Diploma (NFQ Level 9) in School Leadership or equivalent with at least a second-class honour, grade 2 (2:2). You should have at least 2 years of relevant work experience. The university may shortlist and invite you to an interview. Other Entry Considerations: We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet the standard entry requirements, as long as you can show that you have the knowledge, skills, and experience needed for the programme.
