Entry requirements
Minimum Entry Requirements: Irish Leaving Certificate To be considered for admission to a degree course at the University applicants must: Present six subjects, three of which must be at grade 5 or above on higher Leaving Certificate papers. The six subjects above must include: A pass in English A pass in mathematics (or foundation level mathematics) A pass in a language other than English. Special Entry Requirements H3 + H4 In two of: Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Physics/ Chemistry If you do not have a qualification in Physics you must present Mathematics at O4/H6 or better Combinations of subjects not permitted: Physics/Chemistry with Physics or Chemistry All offers of admission to this course are made subject to health screening. Students will be required to undergo Garda vetting. NOTE: All students are required to purchase a dental instrument kit during the second year of the programme. The approximate cost of this is €3,000.
