The Diploma in Cybersecurity Course is a one-year, 60-credit Special Purpose Award (SPA) program recognised at Level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications. This comprehensive Cybersecurity Course delves into critical aspects of the industry, offering an in-depth analysis of the key issues that impact cybersecurity systems today.

Applications for this cybersecurity course are open to candidates who meet the following minimum entry requirements: - Educational Qualifications: Applicants must have achieved a Grade O6/H7 or higher in at least five Leaving Certificate subjects, including Mathematics. Alternatively, candidates may present a qualification from a related discipline that is equivalent to or higher than Level 6 on the Irish National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ). - QQI Applicants: Candidates must have completed a full FETAC/QQI Level 5 or Level 6 Major Award. Mature Applicants We welcome applications from mature candidates who are 23 years of age or older as of January 1st in the year of entry. Applicants who wish to apply based on Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) must demonstrate their ability to succeed in the course by providing evidence of their prior education, work experience, and motivation. English Language Requirements For applicants whose first language is not English, a proficiency level of B2+ on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL) is required.
