Programme summary
The PGCert/Graduate Certificate in Advanced Clinical Practice is designed to enhance graduates’ critical thinking and develop evidence-based practitioners as future leaders of effective services. Students select from a wide range of elective modules (from project management to intercultural care) to fit their specific practice needs. Graduates will obtain in-depth knowledge of an area of Health Sciences to apply to their professional practice.
Entry requirements
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree (NFQ Level 8) with at least a second-class honour, grade 2 (2:2) or equivalent in a health profession. Applicants should be a healthcare clinician, noted on the list of regulated professions. The university may shortlist and invite you to an interview. Other Entry Considerations: We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet the standard entry requirements, as long as you can show that you have the knowledge, skills, and experience needed for the programme.
