Programme summary
Launched in 2005 as Ireland’s first multidisciplinary programmes in clinical education, these courses equip health professionals from all disciplines with the skills to become effective clinical educators, supervisors, and motivators of student learning. These programmes are delivered entirely online, making it possible for students in full time work, based in Ireland or abroad, to participate.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be registered healthcare professionals with at least two years’ post-registration experience and be actively involved in clinical education. To progress to the Master’s programme, applicants typically need a minimum of 60% in the Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Education or an equivalent qualification. Selection is based on your ability to apply learning in your professional context, along with relevant experience and academic background.
