Child Development & Play

This course will equip you with elementary knowledge and basic practical skills in child development and play in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) settings

Applicants must be 16+ years of age on entry to the course. Competent written and spoken English (CEFR B1 or Higher). Non-EU/EEA applicants must have permission to work in Ireland. Applicants should have a standard of knowledge, skill and competence equivalent to NFQ Level 3 when accessing a Level 4 programme. Mature applicants route with relevant life and work experience Additional Applicants must have a motivation to learn, an interest in the subject and the ability to acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies set out in the course. Applicants must be able to work under direction with some ability to work on their own initiative.
