Business Information Systems (Dublin Road campus)

An understanding of information systems is vital to anyone who wants to work in, or manage, a business. This is a highly practical course, which combines information technology with business subjects. Students will learn how to use the data generated by computer-based information systems in a business context. They will also learn how to design, implement and maintain an array of technologies including the World Wide Web, mobile devices, enterprise systems, social media and cloud computing. This programme aims to develop your understanding of the interaction between IT systems and business to prepare you for graduate positions in business operations and IT projects.
