Arts - Global Languages

Course Introduction BA Global Languages is a dynamic four-year undergraduate degree designed for students with a passion for languages, cultures, and global communication. This unique course offers the opportunity to study up to three languages from a wide selection—including French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Irish, while also exploring areas such as translation, linguistics, intercultural studies, and global issues.

Leaving Certificate Entry Requirements: Minimum Grade H5 in two subjects and passes in four other subjects at O6/ H7 in the Leaving Certificate, including Irish, English, another language and three other subjects recognised for entry purposes. A H4 in a modern European language other than Irish and English is also required.
