Programme summary
This is a one-year foundation course in Art and Design. There is a strong emphasis on art practice and portfolio preparation.
Entry requirements
Submit a selection of artwork at interview or submit digitally by email, to include:
- Two samples of drawings of Natural Objects (drawn from real objects)
- Two samples of drawings of Man-made Objects (drawn from real objects)
- Any examples of work you have made in any medium.
- Images photographed from your Leaving Certificate Art book if possible
- Any personal notebooks you work in (doodles etc.) General College Entry Requirements You should be at least 16 years of age. Leaving Certificate / Leaving Certificate Applied standard Level 4 Major award Individual courses may have specific additional requirements. These will be outlined in the course descriptions for each course. Relevant work experience or training will be considered.
