Programme summary
Gain the competence and confidence you need to work with young people. Students will be introduced to key concepts, practices, and policies in the field of professional youth work while examining national and global issues that can impact youth work and young people.
Entry requirements
Six Grades at O6 or H7 in Leaving Certificate ⊲ INCLUDING At least two H5 Grades ⊲ AND English Grade O6 or H7 OR Irish Grade O6 or H7 There is no Maths requirement for this course. Note: Applicants are advised that despite the fact that Foundation Level Mathematics may meet the minimum Mathematics requirement for entry into some academic courses, some employers require Ordinary Level Mathematics or higher to meet minimum educational attainment for some positions. In addition to standard entry requirements: candidates must also attend an interview.
