Programme summary
This course studies a range of modern topics in statistics at Postgraduate Certificate level. The course is suitable for participants who wish to learn statistics for the first time or to build on their existing knowledge and skills set.
Entry requirements
Minimum Entry Requirements? Students wishing to enrol should normally possess at least the equivalent of: EITHER a qualification in Mathematics at level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications and at least one year of relevant subsequent experience in a statistical role or two years of subsequent experience in an applicable area; OR a qualification at level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications in any area with sufficient experience of a numerate discipline. The Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) procedures of the university will be used in assessing applicants who have qualifications not placed on the National Framework of Qualifications.
