This programme is designed to enable the learner to develop the knowledge and skills relevant for careers in Youth, Community Care, Pastoral Care and will give you the learner the basic understanding of the field of Psychology and Addiction Studies.

Leaving Certificate or General Learning QQI Level 4 English Language requirement of a B2.2 standard (where English is not your first language) QQI Level 4 Basic Computer Skills Satisfactory outcome of Garda Vetting Aged 18 years old (minimum) on entry Work placement hours are mandatory in a relevant social care setting Course completion is reliant on Garda Vetting Process.
