Course summary
This degree programme provides students with an education in two key closely related disciplines, anthropology and sociology. Social anthropology is the study of the social life of humankind and how this varies across different human cultures and societies past and present. Sociology developed as the scientific study of human society with a focus on social structure, social reproduction and social change and on how groups and individuals are influenced by norms, roles, and institutions.
