Animation

This programme is designed to prepare learners for a professional career in animation and related fields. Learners study fundamental skills and develop their knowledge using both traditional techniques and the latest computer technology.

Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied, QQI level 4 full award. Mature students are welcome. Students who may not have formal academic requirements but who have the ability to successfully participate on the course will be considered. If English is not your first language you may be asked to complete an English assessment Samples of Work: We would like to see a portfolio of at least 10 observational drawings. The subject matter can be anything, but it is important that you are drawing from life and avoid copying photographs or other artists’ work.
