Programme summary
Veterinary assistants provide basic animal care, assist in laboratory procedures and in the veterinary clinic. They may also work in a variety of other settings including animal hospitals and clinics, animal shelters, laboratories, zoos and animal parks.
Entry requirements
Leaving Certificate or Leaving Certificate Applied or LCVP or QQI Level 4 Award. Equal consideration will be given to mature applicants (those aged over 23) who do not meet these entry requirements.
