Course summary
This programme aims to provide knowledge in vector and tissue engineering product biology and manufacturing techniques, and provide an overview of operations management, quality systems and regulatory affairs and research methods that will enable students to undertake and complete an independent in-depth study on a topic relevant to ATMP vector manufacturing in the form of a thesis.
The programmes seek to enhance graduate employability by building in elements of case studies, group work, simulated problem solving, examples in context, and use of guest lecturers where feasible and appropriate. Modules such as Biocontamination, Cell Processing and Research methods enhance employability, as they are very transferable across sectors and do not limit students to specific roles
