- 3 years Mode of Study: Part Time Method of Delivery: Online Students have 12 hours direct contact per week over three evenings from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. The course is delivered in an online learning environment. Some continuous assessments are on campus during the semester. The term is semesterised with exams in January (first two weeks) and May (middle two weeks). All final exams take place on campus. Modules are examined by way of a combination of continuous assessment (during tuition semester) and final examination. Programme summary
This three year course aims to provide a level of knowledge and skills in Accounting and Finance that prepares students for middle level responsibility in an Accounting environment. Students who gain the Bachelor Degree Award may exit into the world of employment with this solid qualification.
Entry requirements
Minimum Entry Requirements
- Applicants aged under 23 must have ordinary level Grade O6 or higher in five subjects. The subject list must include either English or Irish. Ordinary level Mathematics Grade O6 or higher is also a requirement to apply for year one of this course.
- A mature student must be over 23 years on 1st January of year of application. All applicants must have competence in spoken and written English.
- NFQ Level 6 in Accounting or ATI is a requirement for advanced entry into Year 3.
